My 5-week-old puppy has worms. When can she get her Parvo shot?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 2 lbs

I have a new puppy who is 5 weeks old. She has worms and fleas. I've been trying to get rid of her worms and they've decreased along with the fleas. I feel it's time to get her Parvo shot and I'm not sure what type of shot she should get. Thanks in advance for the help.

First of all regarding the worms and fleas, a food quality treatment for worms and for fleas will get rid of both within 24 hours, so make sure you use a high quality product. she is too young to get her parvo (and other) shot, you need to wait until she is 8 weeks old. she then will need 2-3 shots 2-4 weeks apart t o complete the vaccination course.
