Pet's info: Cat | Russian Blue | Male | neutered | 19 lbs
My cat has never been the most social, but he has tolerated us and has had moments of kindness, sitting in our laps, letting us hold him for a minute, but since last night he has been hiding for quite some time and actively avoids everyone in the house. He hid under my bed for a full night, and then we found him in a room with no one else, and when we went to pet him he walked away from us and hid in the bookcase. I also noticed drool around his mouth, which smelled awful.

Please have Bleu assessed by a vet as soon as possible it sounds like he is in pain and likely has an infection in the mouth either from a broken jaw or damaged tooth. HE requires pain medication and a full assessment, probably under sedation in order to investigate fully - do nor offer him food in the meantime as he may need to be fasting for the procedure
