Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 7 lbs
My cat has lost hair on the one side of her mouth. There are no scales or itching or even inflammation. I did recently change her food.

Hi there! It is possible that this could be related to the food, however there are diseases that can also cause alopecia (hair loss). Another thought, especially since the alopecia is not symmetrical is that Quenna may be rubbing her face somewhere. The only way to rule out the possibility of a food allergy would be trail and error with a different food. It may be worth having the vet perform a skin scrape to rule out a skin infection or parasites.
