Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 4 years and 7 months old | 5.2 lbs
Her incision is healing well and is not infected but it did have a small opening but the vet decided to put some surgical glue on it, its just the vaginal discharge that is worrying me. Also, her anal gland was showing, is it something to worry about?

I am not sure what type of vaginal discharge you are discussing. If there is a little blood post spay that can be normal. Blood can leak into the vaginal region. This is normal a few days post spay. However if this last I would be concerned and he needs to go back to the vet. Sometimes anal glands can get impacted and infected. I would recommend having a vet try and express them to make sure they are normal.

You do not mention when she was spayed orif she was in heat/recent kittens when done .I recommend you contact your vets office and advise them of her new symptoms, it is likely she may need a course of antibiotics, especially if there is an odor to the discharge or she has a fever
