The prognosis is definitely guarded to poor. Especially if the ketoacidosis isn't treated aggressively and right away.. Cushing's disease is a slow progressing disease that can take months to sometimes years to finally take its toll on pets when left untreated. Diabetic keroacidotic dogs can live if the ketones are removed from the body quickly before they cause serious complications. I hope this helps and best wishes with your pet Rasta. If you wish to discuss the case more in detail then feel free to request a consultation. Best wishes.

Unfortunately all three of those conditions can be very serious. The first step would be to address the ketoacidosis which usually requires hospitalization and intensive monitoring of your dogs blood glucose. Once that is stable you still have to address the Cushing's and the diabetes. Unfortunately the diabetes will not be controlled unless the Cushings disease is controlled as excess of steroids interfere with good glucose control. Overall I would say with careful monitoring , Frequent rechecks with your veterinarian and assuming no further complications your dog could be managed for some period time. This might be a few months to maybe a year. However besides the ketoacidosis the other two diseases can only be managed and cannot be cured. Therefore you need to be aware that ultimately one of these two diseases will likely become Unmanaged in the future and require further hospitalization. I would say with those three disease combinations the prognosis is guarded.
