Will puppies inherit liver problems if the father dog has them?

My pet crooker spanial female is in her menstrual cycle 2 nd week . We know one crooker spanial male whom we r thinking to met her for having babies but I can to know that he is having some liver problem then if my female gets babies from this male ....is there possibility .... coming puppies will have liver problem as father has . Kindly help. Pet's info: Dog | English Cocker Spaniel | Female | spayed | 3 years and 7 months old

It depends on what exact illness the sire has. If you can find out exactly what disease he is suffering from we may be able to help more. Some liver issue may be from toxin ingestion but other may be hereditary. I would make sure both male and female have been screened by a vet prior to breeding. .
