My 19-year-old cat has weak bladder, grey stools, distended anus. Why?

Pet's info: Cat | Turkish Van | Female | spayed | 18 years and 10 months old | 5 lbs

Munchkin cat 19 yrs old...weak bladder control for 2 weeks, 1 week of grey chalky stools. Appetite good and drinking normal amounts of water. Anus distended about 4 days until this morning. No health problems prior to this occurred. Any suggestions?

Princess's weak bladder may be due a urinary tract infection. Typically a distended anus is a sign of constipation or rarely a tumor. Kitties her age are more prone to kidney disease and inflammatory bowel disease so I think its a good idea to take her in to see her veterinarian for a physical exam, blood work and a urinalysis. Its best to catch these things early before they get worse.
