Why is my guinea pig itching his face with a spot under eye? Ringworm?

He is itching his face a lot and has a small spot under his eye. I don't know if that's from scratching a lot or if he has ringworm. My vet said they itch as young ones and he's fine. I disagree and want to fix my guinea pig up ASAP. Pet's info: Exotic | Unknown - Exotic | Male | 2 months and 10 days old | 0.8 lbs

IT could be ringworm as it is very common in guinea pigs especially around the eyes. you should bring him back to the vet , there is a simple test for ringworm, if it comes back positive treatment should be started immediately.
