My cat just ate a bee! What should I do and what symptoms to watch?

Is my cat okay? She just ate a bee.

Poor Charlie! Monitor her for signs of an allergic reaction, such as facial swelling, redness, itching, other abnormal behaviors, etc. If you notice any of these signs she should be seen by a veterinarian for treatment with an injectable anti-histamine. If she continues to act like her normal self, probably nothing to worry about. It is possible that she may have some gastrointestinal upset. Also, I would not be wrong to have the vet give her an anti-histimine just to be on the safe side. I hope Charlie doesn't experience any signs and doesn't eat any more bees!
