Puppy has swollen eyes, itching, and ear scabs. What should I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 8 days old | 15 lbs

The other day my puppy was playing outside..he took a nap and when I went to wake him his eyes were swollen shut..he has been itching since then. Today i found a yellow crusty scab like in his ear. Any help on what I should do?

Poor Lebron! That looks and sounds like it could have been a bug bite that Lebron had an over enthusiastic reaction to. If it really is just a bug bite, oral over the counter Benadryl twice a day (25mg if he's around 25lbs) and some antibiotic ointment like Neosporin should help. Take care not to allow any water to get in his ears because that could lead to infection. If that doesn't clear things up, I'd recommend a vet visit. Good luck!

    Poor Lebron! It could be that he encounter something outside that lead to an allergic reaction, causing his eyes to be swollen shut, the itching, and the crusty scab in his ear from the itching. I would have him seen by a vet today, as he sounds uncomfortable and any problems with the eyes should be considered an emergency. That's because leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. The vet can diagnose what is causing his symptoms and how best to treat them.
