I had a female dog..german Spitz she was 14yrs... A was not keeping well for some days...before dying a clear fluid was coming from her mouth whole day... She was lying on my laps during her last day.... Next day she died... Can you tell me what she was suffering from? The fluid was crystal clear with no smell...

Hi there, sorry about the loss of your friend. Fluid drainage post mitten can be indicative of heart failure or pulmonary (lung) fluids buildup. It is also possible she had a tumor of some sort causing the buildup. I hope this helps you find some peace. My best to you.
