My cat is newly blind, I have noticed that due to this he is not moving as much as he was! I believe he is constipated, what can I do at home to help him?

If Nigel has suddenly become blind, it is always a good idea to have him examined by your vet to make sure there isn't a treatable underlying illness or eye issue that can be treated to help improve his vision if it isn't aging-related. Constipation can be caused by a number of things including reduced water intake, illness, obstructions, and low fiber diets. You can try adding in a little bit of pureed pumpkin, or seeing if something like a pet fountain will increase his water intake, to see if it helps soften the stools, however if Nigel is unable to defecate at all it is best to seek veterinary care as there may be an impaction that needs to be removed.
