Hi there. Yeast dermatitis as you are describing us an overgrowth of natural yeast found on the skin of all dogs normally. Some can be difficult to treat and often have an underlying issue like hypothyroidism that your dog would need bloodwork to check. It is relatively non dangerous unless dung handled by an immune compromised individual.
