My cat's paw has yellow, peeling raised skin. Should I see a vet?

Pet's info: Cat | Maine Coon | Male | neutered | 21 lbs

Hi,I have find a hard surface of raised skin on my cat front left paw,yellowy in colour,no pain on touching, seems to be peeling off somewhat.Cat is a Maine Coon,8 years old,male ,neutered,lives fully indoors with 2 other Maine Coon.Does this require a vet visit in your opinion?Thanks.Sabrina

Yes, I would recommend a vet check up. It might just be a skin infection that will benefit from a good clean and possibly antibiotics treatment. It is best that a vet checks it though in case there is anything caught in the paw itself that needs to be removed. Hope this helps !
