My pregnant dog is eating eggs and puppy food. When should she stop?

My dog is 47 days pregnant. I read all over to give her an egg daily. I have been, but I need to know when I should stop giving her the eggs. And also when should I have her completely off of puppy food? Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 2 months old | 40 lbs

I'm not sure where you have been reading that Sugar needs an egg daily because that isn't a typical recommendation. I would stop giving her eggs. The only food she needs is a high quality dog food, and she should go off the puppy food starting now. Pregnant dogs should be taken off it when they are 48 days pregnant. Once she has given birth to the puppies, I would put her back on the puppy food. I hope this helps and the rest of her pregnancy and whelping goes well :-)
