Hello. I am not sure what your researching but 500mg of Metformin is a normal dose for a human so I don't think it would be a good idea to give to a mouse. It would cause severe hypoglycemia and severe lactic acidosis. If your intention is for the mouse to live then I don't think it is a good idea. Maybe using a lower dose would be appropriate?
