My spayed chihuahua has a bump near her nipple. What should I monitor?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | spayed | 4 years and 4 months old | 3 lbs

My four year old chihuahua has a slightly larger bump/Nipple where the nipples supposed to be & it's the same color as her entire torso. I'm nervous because I had her spayed at a year and a half, I can't afford to take her to the vet for a few months, what should I be looking for?

It seems a little far off to the side be associated with her mammary gland. Since it just came up, you can monitor it for any changes m. It is gets larger than have her checked. If it does not change it maybe a cyst or fatty deposit and not an emergency problem.
