My husky wasn't walked and is hyper, howling at 2 AM. How to stop?

Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Male | neutered | 11 months and 17 days old | 24 lbs

Hello I have a 1 year old Siberian husky, I didn't take him for a walk for the past day and it's 2 am where I am and he's very hyperactive and keeps whimpering and crying and howling while I'm trying to sleep and he keeps barging on the door what can I do to make him stop

Behavior such as this can indicate anxiety, excessive energy or potentially the need to urgently pee or poop. I would recommend taking him outside to see if he needs to go to the bathroom. Unless you have a fenced-in area for him I would probably take him on a leash in case there is an animal in the vicinity that is causing him to feel anxious. If his behavior continues into tomorrow, I would consult with a veterinarian to ensure there is nothing going on such as a urinary tract infection or diarrhea.
