Is it safe for my dog to lick my kitten's private areas and waste?

My 11 months old Pomeranian licks my 1 weeks old kitten's private areas... Is it harmful because while my Pomeranian licks my kitten's private areas there also comes pees and poops.. And my Pomeranian licks it just like a mother cat... But I'm worried if its safe for my Pomeranian or not???

Hi there. The only possible problem would be if your kitten has any intestinal parasites-then your dog could also get them if ingesting the feces. It is not uncommon for females of different species to show "mothering" instincts toward young. Hope this helps!
