My cat has green, pasty poop and is lethargic. Should I see a vet?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 10 lbs

My cat has light green/yellow poop, pasty consistency, he's lethargic and seems to just not feel good. At what point should I take home to the vet.

Hi there! If Luke is having abnormal stools and is lethargic, now would be a good time to take him to the vet. They may run a decal diagnostic test on him first to rule out any parasites that might be causing these things and/or some bloodwork to check his organ functions to start with. I hope Luke feels better soon!
