Is Tiger Balm safe to use on my small dog for joint pain relief?

Can topical ointment, Tiger Balm, be safely used for joint discomfort on small dog?

No, this will not be safe on Yoli. Tiger Balm contains essential oils, which can be quite irritating to the mouth, esophagus, and stomach if ingested. In addition, certain essential oils are toxic to dogs, and ingesting too much of the product could cause toxicity. I know you are planning on rubbing it on Yoli, but dogs often lick and ingest much of what is put on their skin, and that's where the concern for ingestion occurs. It's not safe to use on Yoli, and I would not recommend it.
