Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Male | unneutered | 3 years and 4 months old | 5 lbs

My rabbits going to be watched by someone (most likely my neighbor). I'm going to be gone for about a week. what should I do to make sure my rabbit isn't nervous or freaked out while with the sitter. He will only see them a couple times a day since he's a outdoor rabbit.

Oliver will most likely do just fine with the petsitter. However, if you're afraid he's going to be nervous it could be beneficial for the pet sitter to come over once or twice to meet and interact with him while you're there. That would also give them the opportunity to clarify any questions they might have for you regarding his care, as keeping him on the same routine he's used to is the best way to minimize his stress while you're gone. But I think he'll do just fine! Hope that helps!
