Dog's head lump burst and bleeding. How to care for it until vet?

Pet's info: Dog | Staffordshire Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 13 lbs

So when I got my dog I rescued him from a horrible dirty looking place I noticeted a lump it was really small on his head under his skin hes now a year and it got bigger 2or 3/days ago.and bursted today with like a watery blood coming out out of it ive been cleaning it and have a appoiment with the vet but need some comfort

Flushing it with peroxide once, just keep it out of his eyes, and keeping it clean for today is the best you can do. You can apply some Neosporin on it to help keep dirt out of it and make sure he doesn't scratch it. It will be fine until the morning for your appointment
