What's wrong? Dog hair loss, black skin, new sores after diet change.

Pet's info: Dog | Bulldog | Male | neutered | 4 years and 2 months old | 65 lbs

Over the last 2 years my dog has lost hair on his sides and skin has turned black. We just changes his food to a grain free diet and i noticed today that he has developed sores on both sides as well as a lot of bumps under the skin... help!!!

Bulldogs can be prone to a genetic disorder that cause thinning of hair and baldness is certain spots. This can also be a sign of a low thyroid level. The dark pigmentation can occur as a result of these disorders and can be a sign of a long term problem. Your vet can check the skin and run test to see if it is genetic or something else going on, until then you can put neosporin in the sores
