My cat has a wooden pellet stuck in paw, won't let me touch. Help!

Pet's info: Cat | British Shorthair | Female | unspayed | 9 years and 11 months old | 4 lbs

Wooden pellet stuck in claw have tried making it wet to soften it but cat won't allow me near her paw and had a terrible job to wet it as she hates water doesn't seem to bother her unless I manage to get near enough but lodged solid please help

It would be best to seek veterinary care immediately. Your vet can safely sedate Macy so that the pellet can be removed without extra pain or stress. Your vet can then clean any wounds and send you home with a course of antibiotics so that it doesn't become infected. Keeping Macy away from pellets in the future may help prevent more from getting stuck.
