Why does my dog cough like a goose when excited? Tracheal collapse?

She has a goose like cough or like she's trying to get something out of her throat. She does it every now and then and she hasn't done it in a week or 2. It happens when she is excited. Could it be a tracheal collapse? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | spayed | 1 year old | 70 lbs
