What caused my dog's yellow liquid and stomach bloating after death?

If after death a pup starts leaking yellow liquid from his mouth what does this mean? Also is it possible he could have had an internal hemorrhage or was he just bloated and has gdv, his stomach was hard and purple & he was pale, then after he died his stomach became soft. Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 8 months old | 15 lbs

It is rare for a small breed dog to have a GDV and after they passes it would not turn soft from a GDV. Internal hemorrhage is a possibility if there was bruising or any type of trauma. Yellow liquid passing after death can be from the stomach if it was just distended from an obstruction or gas.
