If Dash is truly regurgitating this could be a sign of a problem with his esophagus. Regurgitation occurs shortly after eating and is a passive process - food just comes up without any retching or abdominal effort. It is probably more likely that Dash is vomiting partially digested food shortly after eating. This can be caused by hairballs, eating food too quickly, intestinal parasites, or food sensitivities. If Dash has a decreased appetite, is losing weight, has diarrhea, or if you feel it is truly regurgitation you should see a veterinarian right away. If he is vomiting occasionally (2-3 times per month) it is probably okay to monitor him and bring up your concern at your next routine veterinary visit.
