What's this itchy bump on my dog's nose that he scratches at night?

Hello, my dog has a small bump located on the top of his nose. It seems to itch yet he doesn't seem to care about the itch until bedtime. I thought at first he was just rolling around and playing, but then noticed that he was scratching at something. It is where the fur is thinner and you can see the pink of the skin. Pet's info: Dog | Border Collie | Male | unneutered | 3 years and 3 months old | 42 lbs
