any way to differentiate between a hemangiosarcoma and a hemangioma without taking a biopsy? Thanks, Dr. G. Carey

No, a biopsy is the only way to differentiate these two similar conditions before a hemangiosarcoma starts to spread and cause additional problems. Specialist imaging could be used to search for evidence of spread from a HSA but lack of proof would not provide any predictions of future developments
