No, it is not recommended to give aspirin to your dog. It can cause internal bleeding and kidney damage if given to Roxy. If she is in pain, I would take her into the vet, who can prescribe her a safe pain reliever for her.

I'm so sorry that Diamond is painful. Aspirin is the most common OTC pain medication that owners will give. However, I normally do not recommend it because there are much better prescription pain medications, a number of side effects associated with it, and it interacts with some other pain medications that your veterinarian may want to give Diamond. Depening on if you plan to take Diamond to the vet, I would not recommend giving aspirin because it may prevent them from giving you a better pain medication for up to a week. I am attaching a link below with more information about giving aspirin in dogs. https://www.petcoach.co/canigive/dog/aspirin/ Good luck! I hope that was helpful. Thanks for using PetCoach.

Aspirin is not recommended for dogs due to the risks of gastrointestinal ulceration and bleeding tendencies. The only safe pain medications for dogs are prescription based. Your vet will be able to examine your dog and determine the safest medication for the individual circumstances.
