My dog mated 2 weeks ago. Why is she vomiting and having diarrhea?

My dog mated 2 weeks ago. She stopped eating yesterday and now has began to vomit and have diarrhea is this normal? If not what should I do

No, it isn't normal for a dog to behave like this after mating. It could be that the mating didn't take, and she could now be suffering from an infection of the uterus called a pyometra. A pyo is life threatening, and requires immediate medical attention. I would take Brinleigh into a vet now for an exam. The vet can do a physical exam, routine blood tests, a urinalysis, and x-rays to determine if she does have a pyometra. If she does have one, the recommended treatment is to spay her and treat her with antibiotics. Please take her into a vet now.

    Oh no, poor Princess! She has to see a vet as soon as possible, as she sounds quite sick. I see that she isn't spayed, and her symptoms could be caused by a pyometra. A pyometra is a life threatening infection of the uterus that is fatal without treatment. She could also have a severe GI infection or a foreign body. I would take Princess into an ER vet clinic or find a vet on call to see her now.
