My 2-week-old puppies have a runny nose, but seem healthy. Is this normal?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Puppies have runny nose, it's a litter of 4. They are barely 2 weeks old and very healthy. Nursing normally and gaining weight normally and one of the puppies has opened its eyes. It isn't foul smelling or colored.

It could be a mild viral infection, as long as they are feeding and acting normally I wouldn't recommend trying to treat it, their immune system is still very fragile but the mother's milk should protect them from common infections at this age.
