Why is my cat coughing white phlegm and vomiting for 3 days?

My 2 yr old female cat has been coughing/vomiting up white phlegm every few min not always something comes out. Today is start of day 3 plz help. I plan on taking her to the vet today. Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 2 years and 4 months old | 15 lbs
