Why is my Staffy biting her tail until it bleeds after home work?

I have a staffy cross bitch we recently have had work fone in the home and shes started to bite her tail until it bleeds shes in good health eats well drinks well wormed and flead regularly is there something i can do to stop this. Pet's info: Dog | Staffordshire Bull Terrier | Female | spayed

The only thing you can try and do is putting an e-collar around her neck until it heals and hope she doesn't do that again when you remove it. If she does it again, she might need her tail amputated.
