Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | spayed | 3 years and 8 months old
Hello, my dog went outside two nights ago and she came back in and had bumps all over her head and body. I've given her Benadryl to help it go away but hasn't seemed to work only calms the symptoms down. The bumps were red and now they're white.

Poor girl. If the Benadryl didn't work, unfortunately you will have to take Gracie to your vet at this point to deal with the skin outbreak. She will likely need stronger medication in the form of a steroid or an immunomodulator drug (Apoquel works very well for acute skin allergies in dogs). If Gracie isn't pawing at the bumps or opening up sores on her body then it could take a few more days for the bumps to completely resolve (again I am unsure how long you have been treating with the Benadryl). It is at least comforting knowing that the symptoms did go down somewhat, so you do have the option of waiting a few more days with the Bendaryl routine before seeking additional medications through your vet. Toipcal hypoalergenic shampoo's can also be used to help soothe the skin. My top pick is Duoxo calming shampoo.
