My dog puts his ears back when greeting. Is he being friendly?

Pet's info: Dog | Border Collie | Male | neutered | 5 months and 30 days old | 50 lbs

Loki has always put his ears back when he goes up to/ is with anyone. (Including me! Mum) I think he is just reminding us he is not a threat?

Many dogs put their ears back when greeting people, even familiar people that they are very bonded to - it's not a sign of anything bad, just a friendly gesture that indicates that he isn't a threat, as you said :)
