My puppy has a sore on her back with clear discharge. Is it serious?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 1 day old

We have had our puppy for close to two weeks. We are not sure much about her bc she was abandoned and we rescued her. She has a sore/lesion on her upper middle back. It's not bleeding but it is not dry, possibly puss but clear. Not white. And not oozing. She does scratch at it occasionally but seems sore to the touch so she stops trying to scratch it almost instantly. Very worried.

It could be caused by an infection, ringworm, flea allergy, or mites. She really should be examined by a vet to determine the cause and best way to treat. Your vet can do a skin scrape or culture to help diagnose and then prescribe medications to clear it up. She may need an antibiotic, anti-histamine, or corticosteroid to help treat.
