Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | unspayed
My little rescue kitten is really sick. She has diarrhea and is really weak and disoriented. She insists on putting the bottom of her mouth to rest on something. (A blanket as of now) I think she might have pneumonia but I'm not sure and it's too late to see a vet she is purring and content as long as her chin/mouth is resting

A kitten who is weak and disorientated should be seen by a vet right away. Purring is not always a sign of being content, cats can also purr when they are sick and in pain. I would call around to find a vet who is open to see Gwennyth right away. The diarrhea could be making her dehydrated, which would cause her to be weak and disorientated. Make sure she is getting plenty of water, and you can give her some boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts. Get her into a vet as soon as possible.

You should take your kitten to an emergency veterinarian. Cats often purr when they are very sick and it may not be a sign that she's feeling okay. She could be dehydrated, or her blood sugar could be low. Pneumonia can occur in young kittens secondary to upper respiratory infections and can quickly become life threatening.

It sounds as your kitten is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better. if the vet thinks it is more serious she will need a blood test and possibly an ultrasound in order to find out what is wrong.

I would take your kitten to the vet. She may have intestinal parasites, coccidia, giardia, or a more serious infection such as FeLV or FIP. They will likely want to check a stool sample and test her for FeLV and FIV and will recommend a dewormer for her as well. Good luck!

Without more information it's not possible to determine what has caused your kitten’s condition. However, it is essential that your kitten see a veterinarian immediately. She sounds like she is seriously ill, and these are various reasons that may have lead to his sickness, including possible infectious disease. A young kitten that is not eating is at risk for dehydration and low blood sugar, which can quickly become deadly. I’m not sure how old your kitten is, but they need to eat several times a day when they are young. Please have her seen by a vet immediately. Good luck, and I hope she feels better soon!
