Why is my hamster peeing so much all of a sudden? Is it diabetes?

My hamster is peeing alot starting today. I've had him for about 9 months and i saw online it could be diabetes, do they randomly get it or is it something that should have been happening already if he had it? Pet's info: Other | Unknown - Other | Male | unneutered

Diabetes can start at any age, but this is not the only possibility, it could be a urine infection or a kidney disease. I would recommend taking Rick to the vet for a checkup, maybe a course of antibiotics can help if an infection is suspected.
