Hi. My dog is blind but can distinguish between light and dark. Is it due to the swelling on the brain? He was bumped Sunday. Will he ever see again

Your dog needs to be seen by a veterinarian to determine the cause of his blindness. A veterinary ophthalmologist would be best because he/she can do a more thorough ocular examination and evaluate the retina and optic nerve. If trauma has caused his blindness than it might resolve with time but he should be treated with anti-inflammatory medications to help with any swelling and inflammation. Please have your dog evaluated by a veterinarian to determine the cause and best way to treat.
