My puppy chews carpet, bites, growls intensely. What should I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Bulldog | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 10 days old

Obsessive behaviour - will chew & eat carpet, growling. Bites us when we take him away, eyes glaze over & go bloodshot. Won't snap out of it at all

Strange behaviors can sometimes indicate illness, so scheduling a veterinary checkup is always the best first step to make sure there isn't a problem such as illness causing it. Since Reggie is very young it may be that instead of being obsessed he is just a puppy trying to explore his environment. Much like toddlers, puppies explore by biting, chewing and jumping on anything they can. Teaching him some basic obedience like how to drop toys, and switching out unwanted chew objects with desired ones can help. If Reggie checks out healthy, a basic puppy kindergarten class together would be helpful for instilling manners and learning how to handle his puppy behavior.
