This is a fairly small piece of cloth for a dog this size, so I wouldn't worry too much - it will probably pass through with no problems. You will need to monitor him for the next 2-3 days for any problems such as repeated episodes of vomiting, acting lethargic, or not wanting to eat - these can be signs of a blockage, so if you see them, you will need to take Archer to the vet right away. But as long as he is acting normal, I wouldn't worry at all.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! If they were small pieces they may pass. However, if they were large pieces, he could become obstructed. If this just happened, you can have him evaluated by a veterinarian who can induce vomiting to retrieve those pieces. Otherwise, you can monitor him closely for signs of an obstruction such as vomiting, inappetence and/or abdominal pain. If these are observed, I recommend you have him evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Good luck and have a good night!
