Corid is used as prevention of coccidia in dogs, not as a treatment. If your dog was given Albon to treat it, there have been reports of resistance to it, and that may be why the coccidia has come back. I recommend taking Macimus back into your vet. Your vet can prescribe another drug for the coccidia, such as Marquis or Sulfa-Trimeth.

Corid is not effective in killing coccidia as it is a coccidiostatic, ie it just prevents coccidia from multiplying. So if your dog has clinical symptoms, there are too many coccidia in his gut. He will need a medication to kill coccidia. Consult with the veterinarian who has treated your dog. He may want to give you a second course of medication or change the medication. Coccidia can be very hard to get rid of. Hygiene is very important. You may want to wipe your dog's behind with wet wipes and burn those. Wash your hands well afterwards.
