How can I easily give my cat omega-3s for her recurring skin rash?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Siamese | Female | spayed | 14 lbs

My cat has a recurring condition which stems from her not being able to eat WIThout an additive. Of omega fatty acids. So, I've been extracting from omega CAPSULES and adding to her soft foods. Without it she breaks out with a horrible itchy rash or lesions on her abdomen. Is there some other means of supplying this to her diet? Please help! Thank you Laura. l.khoridobson gmail.com

You can find omega-3 fatty acids as a liquid sold in a bottle with a pump at some clinics and some pet stores. This may be easier for you to administer to your cat daily rather than having to squeeze the oil out of the capsule itself.
