Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered
i just found out my cat has some hookworm in his feces and the vet office didn't tell me right away so its been three weeks now. the cat doesn't have infestation. he's eating and using litter box just fine. my question is do I need to sanitize the house like bedding, floor, carpet? I have a month old baby at home so I'm really worried. please help!

Hookworms are commonly spread by fecal/oral route. Clean the litter box daily and wash your hands afterwards to minimize contamination. it is best to wash bedding and clean the floors just to be safe.
