Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 2 years old | 4.2 lbs

Hi, My 2 year old male cat got neutered and microchipped on Thursday. He was also given antibiotics for a swollen foot which he did have a wound on. Now he was okay friday, but today hes just been throwing up a lot and seems to have diarrhoea along with it. What can i do to help/soothe him?

I would call your vet right away to let them know that Fenris is both vomiting and having diarrhea. Antibiotics can cause these side effects, and it's very concerning that he is throwing up a lot. Your vet can advise you if they want you to bring Fenris in right away, and if they want you to continue with the antibiotics.
