My new puppy has a bubble under his eye. Should I be concerned?

My new puppy has a bubble under his right eye. Is this something I should worry about

Please repost with a picture of your pets eyes so that we can best help you with your answer. We can give you a more detailed reply if a picture is shown. The bubble can be anything from a cyst to a cherry eye, to chemosis (fluid accumulation of the conjunctiva caused by an allergic reaction). We look forward to hearing back from you soon. Take care.

    It appears that the puppy has a prolapsed third eyelid gland, or cherry eye. In some cases it flares up with inflammation, such as with allergies. But in most cases it is chronic. There is a very simple surgical procedure to tack the gland down. Likely both eyes will need to be done.
