Is bleach safe for kitten litter training? My kitten poops outside.

Hi, I read online that to attract the kitten to the litter you could use a little bit of bleach. I spread some thin/mild bleach in front of the litter because she keeps pooping in other places. But isnt it toxic? I dried it afterwards with a towel but im still scared maybe shell lick it or something? I only used it on a limited surface but still.. Im away now for the day so I keep being scared that she'll be dead by the time I get home. Its still weird leaving her like that.

I have never heard this and would not recommend it as bleach is toxic. I imagine it is based on the ammonia in the bleach, you can simply put some of her urine into the tray, just mop up a puddlw with paper towel and place under the litter.
