My 6-month-old kitten's baby teeth haven't fallen out. Is it normal?

Hello, my name is alyssa and i took in a baby kitten that 1 of my friends no longer wanted. He is now about 6 or 7 months old. His name is king. Recently i noticed his top amd bottom fangs have double teeth in both. They have been there for a few days that i have noticed. Is this normal? Should i take him in sooner rather than later? Is he in pain?

Hi, what you are seeing is his adult teeth coming in and his baby teeth haven't fallen out yet. this does not cause pain and is not a medical issue unless he gets to be over 1.5 years and they have not fallen out. The retained baby teeth can get food stuck in them and cause dental disease. I would not worry about it until his is older. Good luck, I hope this helps!
